BAHRAIN Financial Harbour (BFH), the fully integrated waterfront development, is back as a sponsor for the Gulf Property Show 2014, scheduled for May 6 to 8 in Bahrain.

It will be the second successive year that BFH will be a Gold Sponsor at the show – a dedicated boutique showcase for real estate developers, investors and associated suppliers.

Following a successful debut last year, Gulf Property Show has already carved a reputation as a highly targeted showcase for the real estate sector in the northern Gulf.

The $3 billion landmark BFH is in the midst of a significant new wave of development, with work underway on the $32 million Commercial West Car Park development, a 5,400 sq m facility which will provide 1,260 parking spaces for tenants and visitors and also include rooftop restaurants offering panoramic views of the capital.

A covered bridge will also be built to connect the car park with the West Tower and Harbour Mall in the future.

“The strategic support of national real estate icons like BFH was integral to the success of the inaugural Gulf Property Show last year,” show organiser Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions (HCE) managing director Jubran Abdulrahman said.

“We are therefore delighted that our partner has decided to renew its trust in our brand this year to promote their growth story, while further assisting our objectives to create the ultimate platform to showcase real estate projects which are making a major contribution to Bahrain’s economy.”

“This year promises to be another landmark year in BFH history, with construction work on the new car park and expanded leisure and recreational facilities which take us one step closer to realising our long-term vision,” BFH managing director Dr Omar Al Mardi said.

“As the BFH business community grows, the convenience, comfort and safety of our tenants – as well as that of our visitors and guests – remains top priority and the additional amenities that the Commercial West Car Park will provide underscores that commitment.

“We look forward to showcasing this, and other long-term plans for the BFH, at the Gulf Property Show,” he added.

Gulf Property Show will be held at the Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Centre alongside gulfBID and GulfInteriors 2014, flagship exhibitions for the northern Gulf construction and interiors sectors respectively.

Together the three shows represent a unique trio of complementary exhibitions for all aspects of the property industry.
